BlackEyePatch x G-Shock DW-5610BEP-2 with dual-color bezel and LED backlight

Tokyo-based street culture brand BlackEyePatch is releasing its second G-Shock collaboration, which was announced for an international release in July 2024. The G-Shock DW-5610BEP-2 features a BlackEyePatch logo printed in orange block letters on the lower face, and the Shock Resist logo appears on the upper left. Under the Casio and DW-5610 logos on the upper right is custom text with the BlackEyePatch domain name and “All City To World Credit.” The brand logo is engraved on the stainless steel case back. As a DW-5610 model, the watch has a dual molded bezel that is beige with a navy blue front bezel section, and the band is navy blue.

The DW-5610BEP-2 is one the first DW-5600 collaboration models with module 3525 featuring the LED backlight and improved 5-year (estimated) battery life. (The DW-5600AI-1 was the first.) The watch has a custom backlight that displays “Genuine Product” in red English and Japanese text when the white backlight is activated.

The DW-5610BEP-2 follows the GA-900BEP-8A BlackEyePatch collaboration from 2021. BlackEyePatch was also responsible for the graphic design on some of the unique G-Shock watches from various Japanese culture series, including the Beckoning Cat, Daruma Doll, and Koi series.

In Japan, pre-orders for the DW-5610BEP-2JR will begin on July 1 for 71,600 yen each (tax included), with a release date of July 12.
