G-Shock Japan added ten more watches for December including the G-Shock GA-100CG Cracked Ground Pattern Series. The GA-100CG-1AJF (black), GA-100CG-2AJF (blue), and GA-100CG-7AJF (white) have a unique design on the bezel, bands, and face that resembles the cracked, broken ground of the earth. This textured look is achieved with an innovative process by painting the top of the resin and then using a laser to remove parts of the paint. The design is meant to convey the power of the earth combined with G-Shock toughness. List price is ¥15,500 JPY each.
The base model is the popular G-Shock GA-100 which measures 51.2 mm wide. Features include shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, anti-magnetic structure, world time (48 cities + UTC), 1/1000 second stopwatch, 24-hour countdown timer, 5 alarms with 1 snooze alarm, full auto calendar, and auto LED light with afterglow.
