The G-Shock GA-710B-1A2 complements the metallic gold and rose gold GA-710B models, offering metallic blue accents on its hands and markers, a blue-tinted LCD display, and a stainless steel front LED light button with blue IP. The case and bands are a matte black to allow the metallic accents to stand out.
The GA-710B-1A2 is an extra-large model at 53.4 mm wide. Some unique features include a G-Shock-leading (for a non-solar analog-digital) estimated 5-year battery, a dedicated button to start the stopwatch from timekeeping mode with one press, and a target time alert. Other features include shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, world time, stopwatch (24 hours), countdown timer (60 minutes), 5 alarms with 1 snooze alarm, full auto calendar, 12/24 hour time mode, button tone on/off, and Super Illuminator LED light with afterglow (1.5/3 seconds).
The GA-710B-1A2JF is an August 2018 release in Japan with a list price of ¥16,500 JPY. The GA-710B-1A2 is also scheduled for an Asia-wide release.
Update: The GA710B-1A2 will be released in the U.S. in September 2018 with a list price of $130 USD.
