The G-Shock Soho Store in New York held a launch party on March 8, 2019, for the Secret Walls x G-Shock collaboration watch designed by painter Dragon76. A graduate of Osaka University of the Arts who is now living and working in New York City, Dragon76 was the winner of last year’s Secret Walls x G-Shock competition. Secret Walls (@secretwalls) hosts live illustration battles around the world in which two artists (or two teams of artists) compete using black markers and black acrylic paint with guest judges and the audience determining the winner.
The G-Shock Soho Store still has a few of these custom DW-6900 watches available for $130 USD. Shipping is also available with phone orders, but they probably won’t last long.
