Kid Cudi wears G-Shock watch in HBO’s “We Are Who We Are”

Rapper and actor Kid Cudi, who has his own collaboration with G-Shock and A Bathing Ape coming soon, wears a G-Shock watch in the upcoming HBO miniseries “We Are Who We Are.” Kid Cudi plays Richard Harper, an American serviceman living in Italy with his family. The series focuses on two American teenagers who live on a U.S. military base, with Kid Cudi playing the father of one of the teenagers. The miniseries consists of eight episodes, all directed by Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name).

In press photos and the trailer video, Kid Cudi is seen wearing a G-Shock GA-2000-5A. The GA-2000 series is known for its compact size and light weight in comparison to other analog-digital G-Shock models. Kid Cudi is often spotted wearing G-Shock watches in real life, especially the DW-6900 series. In 2018, he performed at The Smokers Club Festival wearing a Mudmaster GG-1000-1A5.

“We Are Who We Are” premieres on HBO on September 14, 2020.

This appears to be an out of character cast photo, with Kid Cudi wearing a G-Shock DW-6900.
