“The Casio Collection” limited book-zine features timepieces and products from the ’80s and ’90s

The Casio Collection Zine Book from IDEA

Thank you to G-Central visitor Kevin for telling us about “The Casio Collection” bookazine. According to publisher Idea, this handmade and bound publication is limited to 150 copies and was created by Asterisk of Hong Kong. It seems to be more of an art book than a zine, with many fold outs, tear offs, and split pages that extend up to 600 x 860 millimeters. The book features vintage Casio timepieces and other products from the 1980s and 1990s, along with marketing material from that era. The selection appears to focus on technological innovation and design. Unfortunately, G-Shock watches are inexplicably absent from the book.

“The Casio Collection” is available from the U.K. for £125 at Idea and from the U.S. for $175 at Dover Street Market, with international shipping available from both sites.
