The Casio WS-1300H is an all-new sports watch series featuring a rugged style, 100-meter water resistance, tide graph, moon phase indicator, and a 10-year CR2025 battery. Though it doesn’t have the shock protection or mineral glass display of a G-Shock, it offers many useful features at a very affordable price. The watch is also equipped with dual time, 1/100-second stopwatch (23:59’59.99” max, with elapsed, split, 1st-2nd place times), countdown timer (24 hours max, settable in 1 minute increments, with auto repeat), 3 alarms with one snooze alarm, hourly time signal, full auto calendar, 12/24 hour format, button tone on/off, and LED light with 1.5 or 3-second afterglow.
The WS-1300H series is a December release in Asia with the black WS-1300H-1AV, blue WS-1300H-2AV, and gray WS-1300H-8AV. The series will also be available in the U.S. (as WS1300H) from Amazon, with pre-orders now open and a release date of January 31, 2022. (Although the Amazon listings state that the watch has a mineral glass display, this seems to be an error, as casio-intl.com states that it has a resin glass display.)
Update: The watches are available for less ($26.95) at Casio.com.
