The limited Flare Red Series is starting the G-Shock 40th Anniversary off with a bang. Announced on October 20, the fire-like GWG-2040FR-1A and MTG-B3000FR-1A are already available in the U.S. and are coming soon to other countries, and there are already several videos of the watches on YouTube.
This official video from Casio U.K. features the MTG-B3000FR-1A and emphasizes the solar flare theme and the glow-in-the-dark properties of the bezel.
This video from Japanese retailer Neel shows how the bezels on the Flare Red models pop under the bright lights. While much of the focus has been on the glow-in-the-dark properties, these are also very striking watches in the daylight with their vivid multi-color bezels combined with red and rose gold accents. This video also features the Eric Haze x GMW-B5000EH-1 collaboration.
