Joining the DW-5610MT-1 which was previously revealed in China are three more G-Shock watches that make up the ’90s-inspired Mix Tape Series for December in Japan. The styles are influenced by retro stereo recording equipment and the cassette tapes used to create mix tapes. The DW-5900MT-1A4 in particular has a very cassette-like appearance with two of the LCD graphs resembling the holes in a cassette. It, along with the GA-100MT-1A3 and GA-700MT-1A9, also has a print on the band keeper that resembles a cassette tape.
Although these models are not designated as limited editions, they will reportedly be sold exclusively online in Japan, and the production amount may be lower than the usual colorway series. The prices in Japan are as follows: DW-5610MT-1JF (25,300 yen), DW-5900MT-1A4JF (13,200 yen), GA-100MT-1A3JF (17,050 yen), GA-700MT-1A9JF (17,050 yen).
Update: G-Shock U.S. released the GA100MT-1A3 ($110), GA700MT-1A9 ($99), and DW5610MT-1 ($210).
