Authorized U.S. dealer Arizona Fine Time is currently selling the Casio Oceanus Manta OCWS7000SS2A for $1,800. The watch is also listed at the Casio U.S. website for $1,800 with a “Notify Me” option and is expected to be coming soon there. This limited edition model was initially announced for Japan only and was not expected to be released in all regions. The watch is part of Casio’s six-brand Sky and Sea Series which celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the first Casio wristwatch.
The made-in-Japan OCWS7000SS2A is a slim and light watch measuring 47.5 x 42.8 x 10.5 millimeters and weighing 86 grams. The watch is made of titanium with a carbide treatment and features Tough Solar power, Multi-Band 6 auto radio time adjustment, Bluetooth smartphone link, 100-meter water-resistance, and a sapphire display glass with a double-sided anti-glare coating. The bezel is sapphire glass with a blue vapor deposition, and the outer titanium bezel frame has a DLC coating. There are also sapphire glass inserts on the crown and case back and a Casio Watch 50th Anniversary case back design in blue and gold.
The OCWS7000SS2A was released at Casio Japan in June and is now sold out there.
