The Functional Logo Series includes three watches in vivid emergency orange from more recent G-Shock lines. The “Functional Logo” refers to the label printed in black on the upper band, which includes basic specifications and a QR code that links to the official Casio G-Shock website. These specs include the G-Shock series name, Shock Resist (with “G” symbol), Water Resist 20 Bar (with “20 Bar” symbol), Bio-Based Resin, and module number. Although the functional logo will probably be mostly, if not completely, covered by the lower band when worn, it is a nice addition for fans who appreciate the generous use of labels on watches that Casio and G-Shock are known for. The FL Series was announced for a September release in Japan so far.
