• The watch is scheduled for an October 2024 release in Japan, but it’s not known if it will be released at the same time as the other GMC-B2100 models (on October 18) or later.
• The watch has a stainless steel bezel and band with a black ion-plating. No titanium or DLC, but at least that means the price won’t be a lot more than the other two GMC-B2100 models, with an expected price of $930 for the GMCB2100ZE1A in the U.S.
• Unlike the G-Shock GMWB5000SS-2 from the previous Casio Watch 50th Anniversary series which was sold only at Casio.com and the G-Shock Soho Store (NYC) in the U.S., the GMCB2100ZE1A is expected to be sold by other authorized dealers in the U.S.
• The fifth band link from the watch on the upper band has a gold ion plating to symbolize the 50th Anniversary.
