About the free G-Shock x Toyo Steel T-190 tool box

Several authorized G-Shock retailers are offering a free G-Shock-branded tool box with a qualifying purchase. At the Casio U.S. site, the tool box is available as part of a holiday promotion with a qualifying G-STEEL purchase, which includes some GST and metal-covered GM models. The dimensions and weight for the tool box listed on the Casio page appear to be for a different tool box (T-320) than the one pictured for the promotion. According to the image, the G-Shock tool box matches the Toyo Steel T-190 box, which is a smaller box without a handle. However, there is a G-Shock-branded T-320 box, which is available from the G-Shock U.S. points program for 900 points. Based on the image, we’re assuming that the tool box in the holiday promotion is the T-190 and not the T-320. Other retailers are also showing the T-190 box in their promotions.

According to Toyo Steel, the T-190 box has external dimensions of 203 x 109 x 56 mm, an inner size of 186 x 88 x 41 mm, and a weight of 0.4 kg. It is a stackable trunk-shaped box with a hinged cover. The T-190 can be found on Amazon for around $15-$25, where it is also sold under the Trusco brand. The box in the G-Shock promotions is red with an embossed “G” logo.

Reeds Jewelers is offering the tool box free with G-Shock orders of at least $200. Reeds recently added the MTGB2000YST-1 ($1,450), GMC-B2100ZE-1A ($930) and DW5000R-1A ($200). You can apparently order the tool box separately at Reeds for $35 if you Google “casio tool box reeds” to find the product page, but maybe you aren’t supposed to do that because that item doesn’t show up when browsing or searching at Reeds.

Ben Bridge is offering the tool box in participating stores and online until December 31 with a G-Shock purchase of at least $200. Jared has the same offer but it applies online only.
