Japanese clothing brand Beams is teaming up with Casio to release the G-Shock DW-5750BE-1JR, a retro digital model with “crazy pattern” multi-color bezel lettering. The colorful accents give the watch a playful 1980s vibe. It also has a blue face and a dual-layer band with an orange inner layer. A Beams logo appears on the EL backlight and the watch is presented in a custom co-branded box. The Beams x G-Shock DW-5750BE-1JR is currently available for pre-order in Japan at beams.co.jp and zozo.jp for ¥16,200 JPY (tax included) with delivery to take place in mid-December 2018. Casio revived the DW-5700 series in January 2018 and it has been a featured model for 35th Anniversary limited editions and other recent collaborations.
