Brave Beaters reviews the G-Shock G-STEEL GST-B600

G-Shock GST-B600D-1A Wrist Shot

Brave Beaters is the sort of watch-oriented YouTube channel that G-Shock fans would probably enjoy, as it covers a lot of “beater” and “tool” type of watches. It is also the only western channel that has reviewed the G-Shock G-STEEL GST-B600, which was released in Asia in February and is the thinnest G-STEEL model yet with a thickness of 11.4 millimeters.

With dimensions of 41.4 × 42.3 × 11.4 millimeters (L x W x H), it sounds incredibly small compared to other G-Shock watches that are sometimes over 50mm-wide, but we should remember that traditional men’s watches typically run from 36mm to 41mm in width. Host Andrei mentions that the GST-B600 wears like a 39-40mm watch, and there are many nice wrist shots where the watch looks perfectly normal.

At this point, it appears that the GST-B600 will not be released in the United States or Europe, but it was released in Australia and New Zealand, which usually get the same releases as the international Asian region. We’re hoping for a possible April release in the U.S.
