Casio Ring Watch CRW-001 for Casio Watch 50th Anniversary

The leaked Casio Ring Watch CRW-001 is a functional timepiece in ring form that is coming in December. Not to be confused with the non-working watch replica rings previously released in toy capsule machines in Japan, the CRW-001 has a battery-powered module (3573) and LCD display.

The Casio Ring Watch strongly resembles the G-Shock DW-5600 or a full metal GMW-B5000 with an octagonal bezel shape, G-Shock origin-themed brick pattern on the face, and dimples on the band, but there is no G-Shock branding, presumably because it is not shock-resistant and water-resistant to 200 meters like a G-Shock should be. According to the labels on the back of the ring, it is made of stainless steel and has a basic “Water Resistant” rating for protection against rain and splashes. One of the leaked images shows the activated LED light along with what appears to be a flash alert symbol. There also appears to be a flash alert (FL) indicator on the display. Judging by the other abbreviated labels on the face, other possible functions are dual time (DT) and stopwatch (ST).
