Casio is releasing four new minimalist and monotone colorways for the best-selling F-91W series. There have been other colorful F-91W series released in the past, but this is the first to use a minimalist face style (similar to the G-Shock DW-5600BB-1 but without an inverted LCD display) and the first with more basic unisex colors, including the first truly white F-91W. The models include the black F-91WB-1A, blue F-91WB-2A1, white F-91WB-7A, and gray F-91WB-8A, with bands made of bio-based resin.
The F-91W, originally launched in 1989, is generally assumed to be Casio’s best-selling series and the most popular watch in the world. It features water resistance, resin glass, 1/100-second stopwatch (59’59.99″ max, with elapsed, split, 1st-2nd place times), alarm, hourly time signal, LED light, auto calendar, and 12/24-hour time format. It measures 38.2 x 35.2 x 8.5 millimeters and weighs 21 grams. The battery life is approximately seven years with a CR2016 battery. Although Casio advises not to swim with watches with a rating below 50 meters, there are a lot of reported instances of people swimming with the F-91W in shallow water without issues.
These four models are currently available for pre-orders in Japan for 4,400 yen each with a release date of July 12. They are also expected to be released internationally.

The MQ-24B is water-resistant with an approximate battery life of three years on a SR626SW battery. The watch measures 38.8 x 34.9 x 7.8 millimeters and weighs 20 grams.
