CRW001-1 Update: Casio America announces December 26 release date for the limited ring watch

While obsessively refreshing the CRW001-1 product page all of last week, we missed Casio America’s press release on Thursday announcing the actual release date for the limited edition ring watch in the United States as December 26, 2024. The press release stated that the CRW001-1 will be available at casio.com/us for $120. It did not mention that it will be available anywhere else.
No time was stated. We noticed that Casio emails were sent out for new watch releases on the first three days of the last week at 11:30 a.m., 10:17 a.m., and 10:18 a.m., EST, but we suggest being ready at all times.
Casio America sometimes releases new watches in batches, and we’ve seen the G-Shock DW5000R-1A go in and out of stock at casio.com/us several times since its release on December 18. If the CRW001-1 appears to be sold out after release, we suggest continuing to check on it. However, we expect the demand for the CRW001-1 to be much higher and also expect the available supply to be lower. We have no idea how large of a window of time buyers will have, but we’re guessing it will be on the small side.
The CRW-001-1 reportedly already went on sale as an online exclusive in Mexico and sold out, and the release date in Canada is not known.
