Eiji Akaso wears a G-Shock GA-2100 watch in ‘Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead’

Eiji Akaso wears a Casio G-Shock GA-2100 watch while playing protagonist Akira Tendo in the Japanese Netflix film Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead. The watch can be briefly seen in the trailer and appears in a closeup in the first minute of the movie as he escaped a hoard of zombies in his apartment complex. The film is an adaptation of the manga series written by Haro Aso and illustrated by Kotaro Takata, which was also adapted into an anime series. Along with being a zombie horror film, there are dramatic and comedic elements as the story follows the dissatisfied office worker Akira, a former high school football player, as he creates a bucket list of experiences to fulfill during the zombie apocalypse.

The watch is the blue GA-2100-2A, which is part of the popular GA-2100 series introduced in 2019 that is now considered one of the four classic masterpieces of G-Shock along with with the DW-5000/5600, DW-6900, and GA-110. The GA-2100-2A was released in Asia and Europe but not the U.S., but the blue GAB2100-2A with Tough Solar power and Bluetooth is available in the U.S.
