Great news for American G-Shock fans: The G-Shock DW5000R-1A “First Model Revival” watch has a retail price of only $200, which is significantly less than the $230 we were expecting and $100 less than the GW5000U-1 (which is now sold out at Casio). The DW5000R-1A is now listed at casio.com/us as coming soon with a stated December 2024 release, so it should be coming any day now. [It was released on Wednesday, December 18.]
Update: The DW5000R-1A is now available for pre-ordering at Reeds Jewelers where you can get a free G-Shock tool box with it and select international shipping available.
