G-Shock is adding two new colorways for the GA-2100 analog-digital octagonal series: the black and gold GA-2100GB-1A and the black and silver GA-2100SB-1A. These models feature dials and markers treated with a vapor deposition for a metallic appearance. The GA-2100GB-1A is likely to be a popular one like the best-selling GA-110GB-1A. Like that model, the GA-2100GB-1A has a glossy black bezel and band. The bezel and band on the GA-2100SB-1A are matte black.
The GA-2100 is one of the thinnest G-Shock watches, measuring 48.5 x 45.4 x 11.8 millimeters and weighing 51 grams. Features include shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, world time, stopwatch, timer, 5 daily alarms, double LED light, and approximate 3-year battery life.
The GA-2100GB-1AJF (19,250 yen) and GA-2100SB-1AJF (18,150 yen) will be released in August in Japan, with other regions expected to follow.
Update: G-Shock U.S. released the GA2100GB-1A ($130) and GA2100SB-1A ($120).
