G-Shock Golden Tiger Skateboard and Perfect Bible in China

Here are some interesting promotional items recently spotted in China. The first is a G-Shock skateboard deck with a Golden Tiger theme by painter Hou Shanzhao. The artwork is from the promotion of the G-Shock MTG-B1000CX-4A, which was released in Asia, the U.K., and Australia so far. The skateboard was the prize in a recent social media giveaway contest, and there was only one given away.

An in-store sales promotion offered the G-Shock Perfect Bible as a giveaway item. We usually see Japanese editions of the G-Shock Perfect Bible released around anniversary celebration years, and this is the first time we’ve seen a Chinese version. The Perfect Bible is a large catalog of past watches (starting with the origin models from 1983) and includes model names, the year of release, and a brief description of each watch. There was also a “Watchnavi” English edition that was made as a promotional item for Singapore in 2015.
