Casio is releasing the fourth limited edition signature G-Shock watch with NBA basketball player Rui Hachimura of the Los Angeles Lakers and Japan men’s national team. The GBM-2100RH-1A is a deluxe metal-covered analog-digital model featuring Tough Solar and Bluetooth.
The watch has a black ion plated stainless steel bezel and a black resin band. The gold dial has a special background pattern that resembles the hardwood floor of a basketball court with white lines depicting the key section and baseline. Hachimura’s signature is engraved on the case back, and his personal logo is engraved on the gold ion plated stainless steel band keeper. The logo resembles both an “H” and the Japanese character for his jersey number eight. The watch is presented in exclusive co-branded packaging with G-Shock creator Kikuo Ibe’s motto “Never Give Up” printed on the floor.
The GBM-2100 series made its debut in May 2024. This is the first GBM-2100 model to be released following the four launch models and the first with a metal band keeper. The GBM-2100 combines the metal bezel structure of the GM-2100 with the solar and connected features of the resin GA-B2100.
In Japan, the GBM-2100RH-1AJR will launch on September 6 for 48,400 yen (tax included). The GBM-2100RH-1A was also announced for an international release, with regional prices to be announced soon.
Update: G-Shock U.S. is already selling the GBM2100RH-1A at casio.com/us for $370 which includes a free Rui Hachimura bandana.
