The Virtual Rainbow Series is a quartet of G-Shock watches inspired by the digital worlds of video games and e-sports. These shock-resistant watches have glossy black bezels and bands and multi-color accents with shades of red, green, and blue. The DW-6900RGB and GA-100RGB have a gradated metallic rainbow vapor deposition on the face and dial. The GA-700RGB and GA-2100RGB have neon green hands and accents in red, blue, and purple.
The DW-6900RGB-1JF (15,400 yen including tax), GA-100RGB-1AJF (18,150 yen), GA-700RGB-1AJF (18,150 yen), and GA-2100RGB-1AJF (17,050 yen) will launch in February in Japan, with other regions expected to follow. The GA-700RGB-1AJF is the first new GA-700 colorway for Japan in a while, as new GA-700 models were mostly being released outside of Japan recently. We’ve also been seeing the classic digital DW-6900 in more new color series recently compared to last year.
Update: G-Shock U.S. released the DW6900RGB-1 ($120), GA100RGB-1A ($130), GA700RGB-1A ($110), and GA2100RGB-1A ($110) in March 2023 as the “Gamer’s RGB Series.”
