G-Shock and Converse Japan are collaborating on a special shoe release to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of G-Shock. The All Star Hi G-Shock sneaker has a blackout style with G-Shock logos on the tongue, side of the sole, and the React 2.0 insole. The All Star logo patch on the ankle has a “40” in the middle of the star to symbolize G-Shock’s anniversary. The familiar “PROTECTION” label of G-Shock is printed on the toe cap. Along with the G-Shock logo, the descriptive G-Shock-like tongue label states, “G-SHOCK 40th anniversary model based on ALL STAR®, WATER REPELLENT, REACT 2.0 insole.” The upper is made of a combination of water-repellent Cordura ballistic nylon and leather, and the sneakers are packaged in an exclusive co-branded box.
The shoe collaboration will be released on October 24, 2023, in Japan with a price of 17,600 yen. It was only announced for Japan, and there was no limited edition G-Shock watch announced.
