K-pop group ITZY to release second G-Shock collaboration with five GMD-S5610IT watches

K-pop group and G-Shock brand ambassador ITZY is launching its second G-Shock collaboration. This release trades the original collaboration’s analog-digital GMA-P2100 base with the full digital GMD-S5610, which is the smallest G-Shock 5000-5600 origin-based series.

The colorways include the black GMD-S5610IT-1, lime green GMD-S5610IT-3, fuchsia pink GMD-S5610IT-4A, light pink GMD-S5610IT-4B, and violet GMD-S5610IT-6. Each watch features the ITZY logo on the face along with five silver stars printed with reflective ink, plus a die-cut star on the band keeper. The LED backlight reveals five hand-drawn hearts that symbolize the crown gesture that the group makes after performing a song. The signatures of the five members are engraved on the case back. Along with the exclusive signature packaging, the watch includes a special 50-piece sticker set drawn by the group members. The bezel and band are made with bio-based resin, and the compatible band size is 145 to 190 millimeters.

As with the first collaboration, just four members of the group were involved in the promotion of these limited edition watches, as Lia has been on hiatus and is expected to return with the release of the group’s new mini album “Gold” on October 15.

The watches were announced for an October release in Asia. A U.S. release is also expected with a price of $140 each.
