Kikuo Ibe in Sydney for G-Shock MR-G 20th Anniversary

G-Shock founding father Kikuo Ibe visited Sydney, Australia last week for a special dinner at Tetsuya’s celebrating the 20th anniversary of the G-Shock MR-G line. The luxurious and tough MR-G was conceived as a full metal high-end watch and represents the top of the G-Shock line. G-Street and D’Marge have exclusive photos from the event which included displays of past MR-G models, recent releases like the $6,200 limited edition MRG-G1000HT-1A Hammer Tone watch and the MRG-G1000DC Akagane watch, and a demonstration featuring a samurai sword breaking a block of ice with a MR-G watch in it.

Mr. Ibe also visited the Culture Kings streetwear store to meet fans and sign autographs.
