Looney Tunes x Baby-G BGD-565TW-5 Tweety Collaboration Model

Coming in September is the Baby-G BGD-565TW-5 collaboration with Warner Bros. Looney Tunes, which is based on the Tweety character that originally made its debut in 1942. Featuring a matte beige bezel and band and a white face with a collage of Tweety illustrations, the watch is also unique for the thin yellow resin loops placed around the upper and lower band. The LED backlight reveals a red Tweety silhouette, and the watch has an image of Tweety engraved on the case back.
The Baby-G BGD-565 is a smaller and thinner model based on the original G-Shock 5000 series. The watch measures 42.1 × 37.9 × 11.3 millimeters and weighs 30 grams, which is smaller and lighter than the similar G-Shock GMD-S5600.
The BGD-565TW-5JR is a September 8 release in Japan with a tax-included price of 14,850 yen. The watch was also announced for Asia and will probably be released worldwide.
Update: Casio America released the BGD565TW-5 for $130 at casio.com/us.
