Previously unseen Casio F-91WB-2A2 digital watch in Tiffany-like blue listed at Amazon

The affordable Casio F-91W is one of Casio’s most iconic and best-selling digital watches. Earlier this year, Casio released the Pop Collection with four basic F91-W colorways featuring a minimalist face, but only the white F91WB-7A was released in the U.S. at casio.com/us. Amazon recently added the white F-91WB-7A and the previously unseen (by us) F-91WB-2A2 which has a cyan-like blue color that strongly resembles the Tiffany Blue seen on Tiffany jewelry boxes (Amazon links below). The F-91WB-2A2 was not part of the aforementioned Pop Collection but also has the minimalist style of those models. The only official Casio listing for it is at the India site at casio.com/in, and its status in other countries is unknown but possibly coming soon.

The F-91WB-7A and the F-91WB-2A2 are currently $29.95 each at Amazon with Amazon.com as the seller. Both are listed as “Temporarily out of stock” but are orderable and Amazon states, “Place your order and we’ll email you when we have an estimated delivery date. You won’t be charged until the item ships.” (We’re not sure if these items were previously in stock or have yet to be added.)

These F-91WB models made of bio-based resin measure 38.2 x 35.2 x 8.5 millimeters and weigh 21 grams. Features include water resistance (against splashes), 1/100-second stopwatch, daily alarm, hourly time signal, LED light, and auto-calendar. The approximate battery life is seven years on a CR2016 battery. Although they lack the superior water resistance, shock resistance, mineral glass, and higher quartz accuracy of a G-Shock, these unique Casio F-91WB models are an affordable entry point into casual retro fashion.

Update: The blue F-91WB-2A2 is no longer available at Amazon. We don’t know if it was ever actually available for shipping.
