The fishing-oriented Pro Trek PRT-B70 series gets an upgrade with lightweight and rust-resistant titanium bands. Compared to the sportier-looking debut models, these two new watches have a more formal appearance that is suitable for everyday wear, with a weight of 103 grams each. The PRT-B70 series has a unique Fish In Time function that tracks the best times to go fishing for the specified location.
Other features of the PRT-B70T-7 (left) and PRT-B70YT-1 (right, with black IP) include 200-meter water resistance, rotating bezel, Bluetooth smartphone link, Quad Sensor (altimeter-barometer, compass, thermometer, step counter), world time, tide graph and moon data, sunrise/sunset time, 1/100-second stopwatch, 24-hour countdown timer, 5 alarms, and dual auto LED lights with adjustable afterglow.
The PRT-B70T-7JF (46,200 yen tax-included) and PRT-B70YT-1JF (51,700 yen) are August 2021 releases in Japan. The PRT-B70T-7 and PRT-B70YT-1 are also being released throughout Asia.
Update: Casio USA released the PRTB70T-7 for $350.
