Notes:

In December 2024, G-Shock is releasing the DW-5000R-1A which is a standard issue (non-limited) release. Due to the differences in its bezel and band design and LCD display layout, all of which are closer to the original DW-5000C than recent anniversary models, we added the DW-5000R to the Specs Catalog as its own series.

The DW-5040RX-7 is the first DW-5000 model with with Module 3534 featuring the LED backlight and estimated 3-year battery life.

The DW-5040PG-1 40th Anniversary edition has a case back, buckle, and band keeper made of recrystallized stainless steel and is 0.3 millimeters thicker than previous anniversary models.

Some DW-5000 models before the G-Shock 30th Anniversary were made in Thailand, but they all appear to be made in Japan from the 30th Anniversary onward.
