The G-Shock GM-2100 is a “Metal Covered” version of the GA-2100, featuring a stainless steel bezel and resin band. Unlike the GA-2100, the GM-2100 is not a Carbon Core Guard model and has a standard resin case.
The G-Shock GMW-B5000 is a full metal version of the original DW-5000 with a stainless steel screw-back case and modern features like Tough Solar power, Multi-Band 6 automatic radio time correction, and Bluetooth smartphone link. Some models are available with a resin band and some (GMW-B5000T) models are made of titanium with a sapphire crystal. The case back on GMW-B5000 models has a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating for enhanced durability.
