The G-Shock GA-2100 was launched in 2019 and quickly reached classic status in just a few years, achieving a place alongside such long-running models like the DW-5600 from the ’80s, the DW-6900 from the ’90s, and the GA-110 from the ’10s. The GA-2100 is akin to a DW-5600 in an analog-digital form. The bezel and band of the watch borrows their shapes from the classic DW-5000 origin model, and the octagonal bezel has earned it the nickname “CasiOak” among fans.
