This grail-like G-Shock square is available at Bodega

The full carbon G-Shock GCWB5000UN-1, which in our opinion was the standout limited edition release of the G-Shock 40th Anniversary last year, is discontinued and selling for above its original MSRP ($2,000) on eBay. We noticed that one well-known authorized U.S. retailer, Bodega, is still selling it for its original price online at bdgastore.com. (International shipping is available.) The GCWB5000UN-1 weighs only 65 grams and is made of a carbon fiber-reinforced resin case and a forged carbon bezel and band. It’s not known if or when more GCW-B5000 models will be released. (The GCWB5000UN-1 appears to be mostly sold out in the U.S. and around the world, but it is also currently in stock online at Ben Bridge.)

Bodega is also selling some other limited editions, including the DW5600IC22-4 Icecream collaboration (worn by Billie Eilish), and the Hender Scheme DW-6900 collaboration with a black leather band that was originally sold by lottery in Japan.

Bodega was founded in 2006 in Boston and has another location in Los Angeles at ROW DTLA. Bodega released its first G-Shock collaboration in 2018 and its second in 2023.
