Another (U.S.) FCC approval application was discovered, this time for the Bluetooth module on the upcoming G-Shock G-STEEL GST-B400. As usual, there is a 180-day short-term confidentiality request on the photos included in the application, but a rendering of the case back design was available.
According to the case back, it is a Tough Solar and Carbon Core Guard model like the GST-B200 and GST-B300, and it uses the new Module 5657. It remains to be seen if the GST-B400 will have a more streamlined design like the GST-B200, or if it will continue with the more rugged styling of the GST-B300.
G-STEEL is a mid-range line of G-Shock watches, featuring analog displays and a bezel made of stainless steel and resin.
