Wagner Moura wears a G-Shock watch in ‘Dope Thief’ on Apple TV+

We spotted actor Wagner Moura wearing a G-Shock watch in the official sneak peak video (embedded below) for the Apple TV+ series Dope Thief. The watch appears to be a 5600 series and the face seems to match the G-Shock GWM5610-1, a solar-powered model with Multi-Band 6 automatic radio time adjustment in the continental U.S. and other supported regions.
The story follows the action of two Philadelphia friends who pose as DEA agents and rob drug dealers. Episode 1 “Jolly Ranchers” is directed by Ridley Scott, who also serves an an executive producer. The series also stars Brian Tyree Henry and was written by Peter Craig (The Town, The Batman). Dope Thief premiered on March 14, and the fifth (out of eight) episodes will be released on Friday, April 4.
Wagner Moura also wore a G-Shock Gulfman G-9100 (now discontinued) in Elite Squad: The Enemy Within (2010).
