The lates the headlines translates to, “A new era for Zona Casio from today.”
Embattled Spanish-language fan site Zona Casio was recently shut down by Blogger for reasons that were not made public, then was restored but would no longer be updated, according to the owner. Now, according to the latest post from November 8, it is under new management at zonacasio.com (where the old URL redirects to) and will continue to be updated. We don’t know the details about the arrangement made between the new management and the original founder and owner Luis, but according to the post, the new management plans to maintain the old content and update the site with news and articles without Luis’ involvement. The site is currently up at the new domain, but it is still under construction as they work on the site design and full restoration of the old site’s content. Congratulations and best wishes to the new Zona Casio!

This is great news! It would have been a shame to lose such a rich and entertaining resource. The digital world is ephemeral.
I’m honestly much more interested in the drama and reason all of this happened. It seems “off”.
The possibility of fake drama crossed my mind.
Or maybe just a poorly-managed hand off? Regardless, it’s an important site and I hope it remains that way. Thanks for the updates.
Thanks for your support, guys! Hope that we can maintain the site for decades.
Good to see you guys back online.
